Stu is a Freelance Graphic Designer and Illustrator.

JULES

Jules is a qualified Psychotherapist and Mindfulness Teacher.

MOVE TO WALES

We moved to our smallholding in Wales in 2010 and built Willow Barn as the home we had always wanted; with no idea we would end up breeding Alpacas.

FIRST ANIMALS

We built a 5 bay barn for the animals some geese and some rare breed Portland sheep.

We actually we built it to get married in … which was a bonus for the animals.

BELLA & BOO

No farm would be complete without a couple of dogs. We got Bella and Boo as puppies in 2018 and now can't imagine our life without them. The alpacas don't mind them either.

ROYAL WELSH SHOW

Visiting the Royal Welsh Show (obligatory for anyone living in Wales with an interest in livestock) we saw and fell in love with out first Alpacas.

OUR FIRST ALPACAS

When we realised that they took no more looking after than sheep, we were sold.

We bought two pregnant females and that was the start of Willow Barn Alpacas.

We still have some geese, chickens and a couple of sheep and 2 wonderful dogs Bella and Boo but Alpacas are our main interest and what we have developed our business around.
